Begin Where You Are

Build confidence, understand the basics, and explore yoga at your own pace.

Curious about yoga but unsure where to start? Or returning after time away and wanting a supportive reintroduction? Begin Where You Are is a 6-week beginner yoga series designed to make yoga feel clear, approachable, and comfortable. Each week builds foundational skills in movement, breath, and balance while also helping you understand the language commonly used in yoga classes—so you can move with more confidence and less confusion.

No experience or flexibility is required. This is a supportive space to learn step-by-step and begin where you are.

  • Each week includes guided instruction through foundational yoga postures, simple breath practices, and beginner-friendly movement sequences. Poses are taught step-by-step with options and modifications offered throughout. You’ll also learn common yoga cues and what they actually mean in practice, helping reduce confusion and build confidence over time.

  • You will build a strong foundation in basic yoga postures, breath awareness, balance, and safe movement patterns. You’ll also learn how to interpret common yoga language such as “engage your core,” “root through your feet,” and “lengthen your spine,” so you can better understand and participate in any beginner-friendly class.

  • This series is designed for complete beginners, individuals returning to yoga after time away, or anyone who wants a slower, more supportive introduction to practice. No prior experience is needed. If yoga has ever felt intimidating or confusing, this series is designed specifically for you.
