Reiki sessions are offered in a calm, supportive environment and are designed to help quiet the nervous system and invite deep rest. Sessions take place fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table, using light touch or hands-hovering techniques.

This experience combines hands-on alignment support, strap-assisted positioning, and mindful applied pressure to help the body soften into safe, supported expansion. Each stretch is guided by your breath and nervous system—never forced, never rushed.
Unlike athletic or performance-based stretching, Guided Somatic Stretch emphasizes awareness, regulation, and embodied release. Supported asana shapes are held with care, allowing tension to unwind gradually while Reiki is woven throughout the session to calm the mind and encourage energetic flow.

Guided rest for deep nervous system healing
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation practice that leads you into a state of conscious rest—often described as “yogic sleep.” Unlike movement-based yoga, Yoga Nidra is practiced lying down and requires no physical effort.
Through guided awareness, breath, and visualization, Yoga Nidra supports:
Deep relaxation and stress relief
Nervous system regulation
Emotional processing and integration
Spiritual reflection and inner awareness
Improved sleep and mental clarity
Yoga Nidra complements Reiki and Reiki Stretch beautifully, offering a touch-free pathway to restoration and inner stillness.
What to Expect
AAll sessions at Dharma Lifeways are designed to support deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, and a sense of grounded presence. You’ll be welcomed into a quiet, calming space where there is no pressure to perform, fix, or achieve anything.
Depending on the service you’ve booked, your session may include gentle hands-on or hands-hovering Reiki, breath-led, assisted yogic stretching with hands-on guidance and support, or guided rest through Yoga Nidra. Sessions are unhurried and client-led—you are always encouraged to communicate your comfort level, needs, or preferences.
Most clients experience a sense of calm, ease, or mental clarity during or after their session. Sensations such as warmth, heaviness, lightness, subtle movement, or gentle release may arise, though experiences vary. It is also completely normal to simply rest deeply without noticing specific sensations.
Sessions are intentionally designed for full-body integration, hands-on support, and mindful energy work while maintaining a pace that is safe and sustainable for both client and practitioner.
What to Wear
Please arrive in comfortable, relaxed clothing that allows you to fully rest and move with ease.
Soft, loose-fitting layers are recommended
Socks are strongly encouraged and required for Reiki Stretch to help maintain warmth during deep relaxation
Stretch-friendly clothing (such as leggings, joggers, or comfortable pants) is ideal
Avoid restrictive garments, heavy accessories, or clothing that limits circulation or movement
All sessions are fully clothed, and blankets are available for added comfort.
