Lifeways of Yoga: Exploring the 8 Limbs
Yoga is more than movement — it’s a holistic path for living with balance, awareness, and purpose. In this 7-week series, we’ll journey through the 8 Limbs of Yoga, exploring how ancient wisdom can guide modern life both on and off the mat.
Each session combines gentle asana practice, breathwork, meditation, and reflection, with time to learn about and embody each limb. Together, we’ll explore:
The ethical foundations of yoga
The role of postures in cultivating steadiness and ease
Breathwork as a bridge between body and mind
Turning inward through sense withdrawal
Concentration and meditation
Integration and presence
Whether you are new to yoga or looking to deepen your practice beyond postures, this series offers a supportive community and a grounded, accessible approach to yoga as a lifeway — a path of living with awareness, compassion, and connection.
Format: 7 weekly classes on Thursdays (60 minutes each) including movement, discussion, meditation, and journaling.
Class Dates: October 23rd & 30th, November 6th, 13th, 20th, December 4th & 11th
Who it’s for: Beginners and continuing students seeking a holistic foundation in yoga.
